Hi,
I encountered an error which makes me puzzled. This is the situation that I use a desktop to configurate Now SMS with Sierra Aircard 750 via a PCI-to-PCMCIA adaptor. The problem is that the Sierra software(v1.x) couldn't communicate with the modem. When i upgrade the software to 3.x version, the software responses a device not avaliable error.
However, when I use the same configuration(Now SMS, Sierra Aircard 750, software 3.x), the sorftware works fine.
Therefore, I would like to ask what is the problem here.

Sorry, but I don't understand. I suspect what you are saying is that it works fine with the PC card in a laptop, but you can't get it working with a PCI to PCMCIA adapter.
Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas there. You might want to check the PCI card vendor's web site to see if they have any driver updates. |
