Hello, I'm connecting a Nokia 6820 through a CA-42 USB cable. I configured the CA-42 to map to COM7 in my computer and install the Nokia cable modem driver on it. This seemed to work well with the Nokia PC Suite but will not act as Modem nor does it work with NowSMS whatsoever. Anyone have any idea on this issue? |

If PC Suite is running, it will hold the modem open, and prevent other applications from accessing it.
Try connecting to the COM port with Hyperterminal ... can it access the COM port?
What is the error message that you are getting from NowSMS? (And are you connecting to it as a COM port, or a named modem driver? Try both approaches.)
