Hi, I'm using now wap proxy and now sms. I've tried to send an MMS from two different mobile phones but I got an "unable to sent" error. When I look to ethereal captures, I can see that the mobile sends a MMS m-send-req packet, and then the gateway responds with a MMS m-send-conf [Malformed Packet]. Any idea about the problem ? Thanks in advance.

Well, you have the benefit of seeing the traces, but I don't. So I can only guess. But the most common error would be if the MMSC cannot identify the subscriber. If you are not getting MSISDN information from a WAP proxy (see http://www.nowsms.com/support/bulletins/tb-nowsms-002.htm), then you must define each user in the "MMSC Users" list, and configure an MMS Server URL in the phone that includes username and password information for that account (see http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/quickstartguide/Configure_Mobile_Phone_Setti ngs.htm). If that does not answer your question, then please provide more information about what you are seeing. -bn |
