Hi, Can someone explain to me the difference between "Send MMS Notification" and the "Send MMS" options in the Web Interface of NowSMS. From what I see, when I use "Send MMS", the entire file gets pushed to the mobile device. How does this happen? As you guessed, I'm pretty new to this technology. Thanks |

Probably the best place to start is the following link: http://www.nowsms.com/howmmsworks.htm That'll give you an overview of how MMS works. Basically, "Send MMS Notification" takes a URL for a precompiled MMS message sitting on a web server and sends a notification out for the referenced URL. "Send MMS Message" causes NowSMS to assemble the content into an MMS message format, and NowSMS then publishes a dynamic URL on its own server ... and sends out a notification referencing the dynamic URL. -bn |
