Hi Bryce, one quick question for you: Is it possible to send MMS Notification (WAP PUSH) over HTTP using NowSMS? In the past I've used IPNotify tag in MMSC.ini to have NowSMS sending MMS Notification (WAP encapsulated message) over UDP/IP on port 2948. Thank you.

Hi Dono,

What do you mean by WAP Push over HTTP?

Are you talking about OTA-HTTP / PO-TCP?

Or are you talking about using HTTP to submit the WAP push through a Push Proxy Gateway (PPG)?

We don't have any option to support OTA-HTTP / PO-TCP ... although if you have a device that supports this protocol, we'd be interested to try it. Try using TELNET to connect to port 4035 of the phone's IP address ... do you get a connection, or do you get an error from TELNET indicating that it cannot connect.

If that's not what you're after, and you just want us to send the push over HTTP to a PPG, then the PPG approach is described here: http://www.nowsms.com/support/bulletins/tb-nowsms-007.htm
