Hi, I understand that there are 2 methods of sending MMS. The first method which is direct delivery does not seem to work as I think my country Telco block it. Therefore I am trying the second method method which using MM1 to send the attachments to the telco MMS server. After i have defined an alternative route, i managed to get the connection test ok when checking the connection. However, the recipent (I actually sent to my own number - I am able to send a MMS from my hp to myself) does not get the mms notification. Can anyone advise me on where did i go wrong ? Attached is the snapshot of the alternate route as well as a text document of my telco mms/gprs settings

Hi Tan, Thank you for uploading that document, as that helps clarify some things related to your settings. It looks like you should be using "10.12.1.80" as the WAP gateway IP Address for connecting to the MMSC. Also, "shmms" should be specified for the GPRS APN. Server Address should be "http://mms.starhubgee.com.sg:8002/", which I believe is what you have entered. (The trailing slash may or may not be significant. I would suggest including it.) Leave the "login name" and "password" fields blank. -- Kent Williams Now Wireless Support |
