Hi, I have installed NowSMS with 4 modems. I am sending MMS by connecting to http://nowsmsserver/eaif/. I have set all modems up with "*" as I want to load balance between them as sending the MMS is quite slow but working well. I need to be able to specifiy the route. e.g. something like http://server/eaif/modem1 I want to do this for two reasons: - 1. I want to use a modem that has a SIM for the carrier that is the same as the carrier for the receipent. This is because cross carrier MMS cost more then within the same network. We have number portability so we cannot do a simple prefix routing 2. The accounts I am using are prepay. I have a way of checking the balance. I would like to exclude modems from the pool that are out of credit. Is specifying the route possible? Thanks. |

Hi, The only way to do this at present is to associate a unique "Default Sender Address" with each of the modem definitions in your "MMSC Routing". Then specify that address as the MMS Sender (MMS From) of the message that you submit. If an MMS Sender/From address is specified, and that address matches the "Default Sender Address" of one or more "MMSC Routing" definitions, then the message can only be routed via one of these matching routes. -bn |
