I have a Motorola 388c GSM phone with data cable (works well with the operator SMS Centre!!!!). I want to test sending and receiving of SMSs via the NowSMS gateway but setting up the SMS connection has failed. Any advice out there?

What is the error that you receive?

I'm not sure about the Motorola 388c, but my experience has been that very few Motorola handsets have inbuilt GSM modem functionality.
