Hello,

I am trying to retrieve emails from a user account on NowSMS 2007 from a cell phone via POP3 over WAP. The NowSMS POP3 server seems to have difficulty with the TOP command sent by the phone. Does the NowSMS POP3 server not support this command? It is listed as optional in RFC 1939.

Hi Jonathan,

It does not support TOP. As far as optional commands go, it only supports APOP (MD5 Digest authentication) and UIDL (used for message sync by clients that leave messages on the server and delete only when the message is finally deleted by the user).
