Dear Bryce , i need to confirm the behaviour of NOWSMS with the presense of BINDIP command. if 2 sessions are connected via different IP addresses to the same SMSC account will the following be valid : 1- all traffic will be load balanced both sessions , thus using both bandwith availble of the 2 IPs 2-if one session is down , will all rejected traffic be rerouted to the other session or now , so the other session acts as Failover ?? please confirm.... Yes, that is correct ... The only consideration for the second part would be to add ... as long as both SMSC definitions are otherwise defined identically with regard to "Default Sender Address" and any "Preferred SMSC connection for" parameters. | |||
