is there any way to configure the number of connections there are allowed on a particular user account? We are now doing some clustering testing and are hitting limits. We don't intend to throw large numbers of messages at the gateway - we want to confirm our applications clustering capability. | |||

Hi Neil, By default, 4 concurrent SMPP connections are allowed for a user account. There is a configuration dialog for setting this in NowSMS, but not in NowSMS Lite. You can, however, edit SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMSGW] header add SMPPServerMaxConnectionsPerUser=### to specify the concurrent connection limit default for all individual user accounts. (For NowSMS Lite, this connection limit will apply individually to all user accounts. In full NowSMS, there is a way to apply different connection limits to different accounts.) -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
