Hi all,

I am doing some research into WAP 2 and i would like to have an understanding of:

1) Where is the proxy located?(on the mobile provider's side or the web content provider side) I have read that wap 2 does not require a proxy but it can optimize the communication between the client and web server. Is this true?

2) How difficult is the proxy to setup?

3) How would you configure the phone to connect to the proxy?

4) Is there a difference between the wap 2 proxy and WAP 1 gateway connection strings?

Thanks in advance.
