I am currently analyzing logs of traffic on a wap site. I see a lot of visitors coming from specific IP addresses which I assume are the Network WAP gateways. Does anyone know the IP ranges for the various WAP gateways (I am particularly interested in the UK). Also I keep finding two IP addresses which rank surprisingly high one being 64.191.77.231 and another 217.169.46.98 which when looked up belong to Network Operations Center Inc. and Cerberian-Inc-UK respectively. Are these known gateways?
Hello. The ip address of the wap gateway/http proxy of a network operator may be found from its website. Usually there is a section that details how to configure a mobile phone to access the internet and you can find the ip address there.
