Hi,
Orange Reunion are currently using wap.proxy v2008.04.20 and the forward x-msisdn as well.
We want to know how many url can be add in the contains domain list ? what is the impact of filling the list in term of performance.
Another point is that i saw in the discussion board , a guy who using v2.2 and can forward x-Network-info. is it possible with our version and what can we add more x- radius field?

Hi Marc,
The UI will only let you add 1000 entries to the list. (It will let you add more, but the next time you go into the UI it will truncate the list at 1000.)
The server will load up to 10000 entries from this list.
As a practical consideration, I would not expect the overhead of larger lists to be significant, although I don't believe we have ever run performance tests specific to this. The added overhead would be to the amount of CPU load per connection, so if you do increase the size of your list significantly, I would recommend monitoring CPU load % as a precaution.
I see that X-Network-Info is a header that we generate for WAP/WDP connections. However, we don't generate it for WAP2/HTTP connections.
What information are you looking for in these other headers?
There is a setting that allows you to generate headers other than X-MSISDN if you need to generate a different header for compatibility with a particular application. That option is described here: http://www.nowsms.com/discus/messages/131/20420.html

Thanks a lot for advice , it is helpfull,
For header, Orange forward some information ( msisdn , IP adreesss from SGSN , rat Type ( bearer )) via http header by using radius information and treatment in the data content billing ( http proxyy ). It could be interesting for us to put other radius field because there are into the radius accounting request. Wap gateway do radius request for extract msisdn and i asking me if we could perform extraction of ip adress from GPRS node , by example by configuration.

Hi Marc,
I spoke with one of our engineers, and he tells me that currently only the user name and framed IP address attributes are saved in our MSISDN tracking.
However, it would not be difficult to track other Radius accounting attributes, and include them in a configurable header. There would be no performance impact, only a slight memory usage increase which would be in an acceptable range.
So, if you have specific attributes that you would like to include, we might be able to do this ... just identify which Radius accounting attributes you are interested in.
