I'm so confused on how to deal with this issue, I have a java app that I want to sell to consumers and then have it sent to their phone. I'm creating a website but how do I do this. If you go to athantime.com, I need mine identical to their system, how do i setup a wap push gateway, please help |

What country are you talking about? In the US, to do a WAP Push to a handset you need to get a short code which is WAP-enabled upon provisioning. And if you want to charge for the Java app, you must activate the short code for Premium SMS billing as well. This is not free FYI...you must call a company like GoLive! Mobile (www.golivemobile.com) or Motricity (www.motricity.com) or Air2Web (www.air2web.com).
Once you do that, the company you choose will have their own API to send WAP Push etc. |
