I'm sorry, but I don't have any advice on configuration any RAS servers. NowWAP assumes that there is IP connectivity between the device and the proxy. How that IP connectivity is accomplished is independent of the product. There are a few pointers that I can offer for this type of configuration: 1.) If you are unsure that you have actual IP connectivity, enable the WAPDEBUG.LOG in NowWAP. To do this, you must manually edit WAPGW.INI, and add Debug=Yes under the [WAPGW] header. If NowWAP receives ANY IP traffic, it will log the information in this log file. If you don't see any information about incoming packets or connections in this log, then the IP traffic is not making it as far as NowWAP. 2.) Ethereal is an excellent packet monitoring tool for intercepting and interpreting IP traffic. www.ethereal.com 3.) If the RAS server is running on the same PC as the proxy, then it is advisable to edit WAPGW.INI, and under the [WAPGW] header, add BindWildcardIP=Yes. This setting controls how NowWAP binds to TCP/IP for receiving traffic. -bn |

If WAPGW.INI doesn't already exist, you can just create it as a plain text file in the NowWAP program directory with the following content: [WAPGW] Debug=Yes |
