Hi,

I already have a short number (999) for mobile user to send message(s) to our system (via SMPP).

I think that this number can also be used in MMS. It means that user can send us MM by sending to 999. This MM is sent to MMSC (instead of SMSC). MMSC, when identifies the dest address, will send that MM to our system (via MM7).

Anyone can tell me my statement is true/false?

regards,

THO,

That is certainly very possible. You'd have to ask your operator whether or not that is true in your particular case.

I'm not sure what more details could be added.

It is not a true/false type of proposition. An operator could have the system deployed in the manner described, or they might not.
