by the sms received from the cell phone, or maybe sending sms to that cellphone and waiting some form of status... As i understand SMPP is between the provider and smsc, the smsc will not provide additional information about the cellphone, but only about the sms. Or there could be a way to know information about cellphone ? Thanks | |||

Generally speaking, there is no way to do this from just sending or receiving an SMS. If you send an SMS message with an HTTP URL link, and the user click on the link ... your script running at that link could check the HTTP "User-Agent:" header which can provide some information about the phone model. | |||
