Apart from the Nokia Smart Messaging format and EMS, is there any other format to send out Barcode SMSes to mobile phones? There has been a flood of mobile phone companies in the market recently and many of them dont seem to support Nokia Smart Messaging format. And, the Nokia CDMA phones themselves dont seem to support Barcode SMSes sent via Nokia Smart Messaging format. We would like to know if there exists a solution that will help us send Barcode SMSes to as wide an array of mobile phone models as possible. Any help on this will be much much appreciated. Hi Rohit, It varies by market, but what we're seeing more of these days is the use of either MMS, or sending a text message with a URL link where the user needs to click on the URL link to view the barcode in their browser.
