I purchased a GX10. But unfortunately, after putting all the settings in correct from o2 website, still get a check settings error message when trying to sign on to internet or send mms. Also how do you get rid of vodaphone live from the phone | |||

help i have a gx10 and it is now on 02 newtork i have the data cable and i am trying to download the pictures i have taken on to my pc but it wont do it pleaser someone help me as i have not got a clue | |||

Activating GX10/10i for MMS and WAP Go to menu, Settings, Internet Settings, choose desired option to modify, select a profile and choose edit, follow your nose. Will need correct settings from Telco and service activated on account with Telco. If still having probs after confirming all settings correct reset phone by turning off and back on (no need to remove battery or sim card). If ph will allow connection to home page but you can' go any further it's because ph has been left on for an extended period of time. Again just turn ph off then on and will function as normal. Used for modem connectivity as a mobile solution for laptops. You will need to send an MMS to an email account to get pictures onto your PC www.sharp-mobile.com | |||

hi just a bit of help with getting on to the web with o2 if you try and log on to voda live and wen it says error click the left option button and choose home this should work | |||

hola.... I just bought a new sharp GX10i and evrytime i send a picture it says (server connection error) and i dont know what to do i wish if someone help me... i really want to use, whats the point to buy a camera phone if I cant use the mms  thanks alot...  | |||

Right lads. Thats nothing. I put my new o2 genie card in my old vodaphone gx-10 so i can get free texts. U guys may not be able to do mms or wap. However my phone doesnt even send sms!!!! Its confusing. Anyone know where i can get message setting from? I can ring people, recieve a phonecall and rfecieve texts but i cant do any thing else! Regards, Mark | |||

there is a way of getting mms setting and wap settings if you have a 02 phone which isnt unloked or anything original sim card etc and you have the right mms seerting and wap just copie all the onfo from setting wap setting and mss settings that worked for me | |||

02 will email anyone free of charge all the gprs settings and mss settings. to your email address. just call there helpline for sharp gx 10 and gx10i i did it today. good instructions easy to follow. | |||

I have just got a GX10 but it ramdonly turns its self off and on again when i am on the phone, it only happens on voice calls, a few times a day, does anyone know why this would happen? Many Thanks | |||

PLEASE HELP I have my Sharp GX10 unlocked and on the Orange network. I have a data cable that does not work and all I want to do is move my pictures from my phone to either another phone or to my computer I am not to worried as long as I can move them. Please can someone help me and tell me how to set up my mms or something to enable me to send pictures. It's a great phone but half the features don't work what a waste of a good phone. wow that long ago i posted my message. i guess the gx10 phone is not worth the money! i got a new gx10 4 months ago and still no internet and still cant send mms but the last few months the signal has been c*ap, if any one is going to buy one i would not pay more than £40 but then again i would not sell mine for £40 | |||

hi i bougt a nokia 3220 and i got it unlocked from virgin network to o2 and i have a genie sim, i can't send or receive picture messages and when i try to sign on to the internet it says subscribe to GPRS, can any one help please? | |||

hi everyone, one of my friends says he hasn't been receiving any of my text messages. I've sent about five over a six day period, from different areas of the country. Other people are getting my texts, I can't work out why they're not getting through on his end. My phone registers them as having been sent. We don't know what is going on. Any ideas?? | |||

Hi fellow GX10i users.......My wifes GX10i wont receive MMS's from her friend anymore,whereas she had no pblm 'til recently.She's not made any changes to the settings & always gets MMS's from other friends & your truly.The receive 'Envelope' (blue) opens without any bother but the yellow envelope with the @ will not open on command as it says that the message is too big for download....Any advice would be greatly appreciated.TIA. | |||

All I would like to know is how on earth do you enter an ermail adress in the phone book?! It only allows putting in numeric charaacters in the phone number part and pressing the button under the 9 does nothing??! | |||

If you still have problem sending MMS then just tell u'r operator to send WAP OTA setting message to u'r phone with all the settings in it. | |||

i dont no my mpobile number all because i dont have the sim kit. i left everthing when i was travelling. and now i need the number urgently. is a new number which no one has that makes it more difficult. am currently in west africa ghana withthe o2 rooming chip which i have reception. i want the o2 service to tell me ma number but dont no how i also dont have units to call someone in order to retrieve my number please help me out | |||

ok, first thing's first, steve, the answer 2 your question is 2 get ur m8 2 stand rite next 2 u, u call ur m8, and on his phone it will say the number, while ur phone is still ringin, write the number down shown on ur m8's phone. that is our mobile number. if itdoesnt work the sorry. next to some annoymous people, they ask how 2 put pictures from ur phone 2 ur computer. well, i hav a sony ericson W800i, and it came with a cable. if ur package didnt come with a cable then i suggest u buy 1.all i do is plug in my phone, w8 about 5 seconds then go 2 my computer, removable disc, open it, go to the folder (its name something like htt//(h~;) and go 2 phots, the folder in that. when i open photos all of my phone photos r there. is this doesnt work 4 u sorry. ok and here is my request, as i said earlier on, i have a W800i sony ericson walkman, i have gone 2 the O2 website, asked 4 the settings but when i enter my mobile number, it wont let me enter the last digit. now b4 u say its coz i hav the number wrong, or a double where i dont need it, ur wrong because i have checked it very carefully, and its the rite numbers, and my friends can call me and text me fine.plz can some1 tell me how 2 picture message, thank-u now, there was 1 guy who wanted 2 delete vodafone live, well, grave news but u can't. sorry. it is there catch so that u pay more money, that is why im with O2. vodafone live comes up when u turn ur phone on cuz they want to make u give more money for your credit, thus them getting more. hop everything i said works for you, yours cincerley some guy | |||
