In order to send/receive MMS messages, profile settings must be defined on your phone for how the phone connects to the operator MMSC.

These settings are different for every mobile operator. (There is no magic settings that work for all operators.)

So you need to find out what the connection settings for MMS are for your mobile operator.

Then you need to configure those settings in your mobile phone. And unfortunately, the procedure for configuring the settings in a phone varies from phone to phone.

But basically, you need the following information for the MMS settings of your mobile operator:

1.) MMSC Message Server URL: (This usually starts with http://)
2.) GPRS APN (Access Point Name):

3a.) WAP Gateway IP Address:

-or-

3b.) HTTP Proxy Server and Port:

There are often other settings, but they are usually not important. (Except if a phone asks you for a "connection type" or "port number" associated with the WAP Gateway IP. In that case, always set the "connection-type" to "permanent" or "connection oriented" ... two different terminologies on different phone types that mean the same thing. And if a Port number is asked for when associated with a WAP gateway, specify 9201.)

On the Nokia 3650, you configure the MMS settings under Messaging/Options/Settings/Multimedia Message/Preferred Connection. (Use Options/Change/Options to get into where the settings are defined. There is a manual for the Nokia 3650 that you can download from the Nokia web site if you do not have one.)
