Are you on T-Mobile DE, UK, or USA? For T-Mobile USA, we've found that you need to have your MMSC configured on HTTP port 80, otherwise it will not go through the T-Mobile WAP gateway on the standard T-Mobile settings. I'm a little confused by your message though. It sounds like you changed settings and you can receive MMS messages properly? Exactly what settings do work, and what settings do not work? I've tried to send MMS messages to a T-Mobile and Orange handset in the UK but the messages don't get through. Could you tell me in plain English which UK networks should be able to receive the messages without changing the handset settings, and which would need to be configured to my MMSC? Vodafone and O2, no problem. Orange definitely requires settings changes. I'm not sure about T-Mobile UK. (We've got one T-Mobile UK phone in the office, but it was purchased before T-Mobile UK launched MMS, so I don't know what their pre-configured MMS settings are on that network.) | |||

The instructions should be in the SMS message that you received. (I'm sorry, but off the top of my head, I do not know ... as the instructions do vary for each mobile operator.) Do note that most operators have a timeout and delete unread messages after a few days ... so if you don't figure it out quickly, the message may disappear. (No, this doesn't make sense ...) | |||

Maisie, The settings for T-Mobile UK can be found in the following list: http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/485/491.html But how you actually define them in the phone is another story, as that interface typically varies from phone to phone, and I don't have a reference that shows the Sharp GX-10 user interface for defining settings. A quick web search shows a reference to how to define settings for the GX-10 on Vodafone in New Zealand: http://www.vodafone.co.nz/vlive/vlive_configure_sharpgx10.jsp Those instructions would get you to the right area. You'd just need to use the settings from the other thread for T-Mobile in the UK. | |||

Hi guys - these are the generic settings for T-mobile uk's MMS service.... if you cant send them from anywhere else (sometimes if you have bought the phone from Carphone warehouse the handset wont receive settings sent over the air). Homepage http://mmsc.t-mobile.co.uk:8002 WAP IP 149.254.211.10 Port 9201 Timeout 1 Minute CSD No. Leave Blank Username (MMS) Leave Blank Password (MMS) Leave Blank Speed (Bps) 9600 Line Type ISDN GPRS APN general.t-mobile.uk User Name (GPRS) user Password (GPRS) one2one (lowercase) I work for T-mobile UK in Customer services. If it says network fail when you send an MMS - check that the indicator for GPRS is showing on the phne (normally a G or an envelope / paperclip spinning)(a blue triangle above the signal indicator for sony ericsson), also check your settings. if you receive a text message stating that you need to go to a website to see the message go to www.t-mobile.co.uk/pmcollect and enter the pin code as it appears in the text message. the timeout for MMS messages on T-mobile UK is 72 hours.... the same as for text messaging | |||

hi! i too have a problem. im in the US using t-mobile. my handset is 7250i. eveything else including my gprs is working however i cant seem to get my mms to work.. im not a celphone wiz.. wat does this mean? Hi Bryce, I got a problem using T-Mobile prepaid SIM. When sending a MMS message to a multiple T-Mobile recipients, none of the recipient received the MMS message. But when using Vodafone SIM, it worked just fine. Did I miss something here?? Thanks. | |||

I have seen a few message pics this way, but today it is not having it. Does this mean your site is down, or have i got to do something else? If the site is down, and the message pic cannot be picked up, do you refund the cost of sending it and compensate those who loose a unique picture? | |||

I am using a T-Mobile sim in a once Vodafone locked panasonic EBX60. For some reason the phone is not reading the sms message centre number from the sim card. Can anyone tell me why this could be. i.e. do vodafone do something to the phone to prevent sms. etc? | |||

hello. I have recently got me the nokia 6670, which I have now realized doesnt support CSD, which seems to mean that I can't receive MMS messages on T-Mobile UK, its a bit odd though, because I can send the MMS out fine, and in my phones activity log I appear to get the SMS notification telling me I have an MMS, but the phone doesnt then do the obvious thing - go and get it. I was wonderring if anybody nows how I can persuade my handset to work? I have used the same SIM on other phones previously and received messages. I know the settings are correctly set to T-Mobile on the N6670 too. I am going to try my friends Nokia 6600 at some point, as the 6600 has CSD support, so I'm interested to see if that handset works for me. If there is a way of making my 6670 work without CSD then that would rule! Anyhow thanks guys!! | |||

I've had 2 MMS messages from T-mobile telling me that I have picture messages waiting to be collected from this site but try as I may, despite entering my mobile number and the correctly issued password I still can't get to see what they are. It seems this problem with the pmcollect has been going on for some time. Will anyone actually solve the problem or is this futile. Oh and btw do not send me notification of anything if I cannot access it on the website seems darn stupid to me.
