Bumped over from http://www.nowsms.com/discus/messages/485/23149.html Hoping to get some advise on getting the Multitech MTCBA-G-U-F4 working (connecting to the carrier). My current thinking is that the intialisation string is wrong. Any help is appreciated. Kiwi |

For reference purposes http://www.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/14649.html When I issue the command 'AT+CGREG?' I get '+CGREG: 0,2' which is 'connecting'. It never paases that state. SIM card works fine in all the mobile phones I have to send and receive SMS/MMS messages. Checking 'AT+CPOL?' I notice that Vodafone NZ is not listed. I add via 'AT+CPOL=24,2,53001' then issue 'AT+CPOL?' and its entered on the list (if that makes any difference). Kiwi |
