Hi friends Any idea how to get UAProf or device detection. We are developing a VASP application using EAIF Protocol. We provide some special content(MMS) to end receiver. But before sending content to end device through MMSC first we need to check the end receiver handset capability like screen size, multimedia support etc. We don’t want to use MMSC content adoption. My question is how we can get device profile information so that we can create proper content and then send to MMSC. Is MMSC is able to send us this information. If not what are other ways for getting UAProf or device capability detection. any idea .. suggestions .. views Thanks |

Your WAP Gateway has this information. So when ever a device trys to connect to a WAP Gateway it also send this information to it. If play around with NowSMS WAP gateway and look in to its log, you will be able to find the device that is trying to connect to it. Once u know the device u can send the contents according to the device profile. Best of luck Nauman
