I am trying to understand what is captured in the SMSIN-yyyymmdd.log and SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.log files. I have 3 GSM modems plus three SMPP connections sending and receiving messages. It seems to me that outbound messages are showing up in the SMSIN logs. I am assuming this has something to do with having messages route directly to users, but would like to know this for sure.

I am using NowSMS 2007.
