I've read on several short code sites that the FCC mandates that all machine-to-person SMS messages must make use of a short code. (in the United States?)

Obviously, everyone using this product is doing machine-to-person without a short code.

Anyone know the legal implications of sending machine-to-person messages using this software? Can I get stung?
