I've been searching for about 3 months for a company who can provide me PREMIUM SMS BILLING service in Europe. It has been extremly difficult to find it.

We are interested in PREMIUM SMS services, with recurring billing charge on mobile phones.

We are working on a project like this:

1) User registers at website, using their mobile phone number.
2) User receives a PIN CODE on the mobile phone
3) User confirms the received code at the website.
4) User is automatically recurring charged every week 4 EURO, until
subscription is cancelled.

Anyone knows a company who can really provide this service without being EXTREMLY expensive at setup and monthly cost ?

Please reply ASAP.
Thank you.

Hello.

I don't believe any aggregators offer "recurring" billing setups. My understanding of Premium SMS (from long and involved discussions with aggregators in the US and UK) is that a subscriber is billed a pre-defined fee for each SMS sent to your shortcode, nothing more and nothing less.

You have no ability to not charge a sender when receiving an MO message to your shortcode, nor can you vary the fee.

You might be able to do something more interesting working directly with a wireless carrier, but then you won't be having a shortcode. As for the cost, if you aren't managing 5,000 premium messages a month then it is definitely not a money making proposition, whereas if you ARE managing 5,000 messages then it should be paying for itself. If not, shop around.
