Well, the first question, did it ever work?

It looks like you have configured "192.168.1.1" as your HTTP SMSC? Is there an actual program or script running there to process the SMS messages?

I ask, because a lot of people think they can just point NowSMS to their web server and start sending messages, which is not the case.

To avoid any potential confusion, I should explain that the Now SMS/MMS Gateway is a software product. NowSMS is not a bulk SMS service provider, and it is not a replacement for an SMS service provider. You will need a subscription to an SMS service provider, or a GSM modem, in order to send messages with NowSMS.

The Now SMS/MMS Gateway is a middleware tool for SMS, which among other features, can be used to manage connections to one or more service providers; or to manage receiving SMS messages; or to perform message formatting for advanced message types such as WAP push, MMS, etc.

If you are connecting to an actual HTTP SMSC connection, tell me what the URL is that you have configured. It would also help if you enabled the SMSDEBUG.LOG (the easiest way to do this is via a checkbox on the "Serial #" page of the configuration dialog).

And it resolves to 192.168.1.1?

Is there more to this URL?

How about enabling the SMSDEBUG.LOG (the easiest way to do this is via the checkbox on the "Serial #" page of the configuration dialog).

Try again, and post the SMSDEBUG.LOG. Note that this log might contain passwords, so you should either e-mail this file to nowsms@now.co.uk (put "Attention: Bryce" in the subject line, and reference this thread so I know why you are sending it) ... and/or edit the file to remove any references to passwords before posting it as an attachment here.
