Is it possible for a nokia 3310 to accept AT commands (to be ordered -to send and recieve SMS-from amicro controller) ? |

Yes, it is possible. I can even connect my Nokia 3310 to my rice cooker through data cable. |

I tried to send AT-commands to my 3310, but got no response. I looked at Nokia's Home-page, and found that on their M2M module -Nokia 12, you must connect a 68Kohm pull-down-resistor to BSI(pin 37) to set it in AT-Command mode. I do not know if this has to be done inside the 3310, or if it can accept AT commands at all. |

To the best of my knowledge, the Nokia 3310 does not support a GSM modem interface, which means that it will not accept AT commands. I'd love for someone to be able to correct me on this, but based upon past postings here, this seems to be the case. |
