what are the devices that sms gateway can deal with (except the smsc) and what is the protocol used with each device??? Thanks | |||

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question. I don't know what devices you are referring to other than the SMSC? Do you mean GSM modems (used as the SMSC)? There is a standard specification known as GSM 07.05 (GSM 07.07 is also often referenced in its place, but the latter has more to do with GPRS than GSM). This defines an AT command set for sending/receiving SMS messages via a modem interface. NowSMS uses GSM modems and phones that support this specification. -bn | |||
