Is it possible to send a sms from the command prompt with out opening an explorer window. The command from the prompt is as follow. start http://127.0.1:8800/phonenumber=XXXXXXXXXX/text=xxxxxxxxxx. This command works but it opens an explorer windows that you got to close manualy. Or is there a better way to do it. Want to call smsgateway as a third party product to send sms's directly from managment station.

Tjaart, Here's a link that might be helpful to you: http://www.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/375.html The simple script referenced in that example sends a pre-defined message ... but it probably would not be very difficult to modify it to support command line parameters. -bn
