Hello,
I experienced a scenario where an application failed and sent out the same message many time to one of our subscribers phone numbers.

Is there something someone can do to stop one message originated from an application, from getting to the same recipient several times?

Perhaps we can make it a limit of not morethan 10 or something.

Hi Michael,

There are no controls in NowSMS to prevent. NowSMS does not perform any tracking like this.

If you wanted to do this, it could be done through the SMS Accounting Callbacks. NowSMS calls an accounting callback before each message submission, and your accounting callback could record submitted messages in a database, and block apparent duplicates.

However, there is no function built into NowSMS to do this without creating an accounting callback.
