I don't know what type of SMSC connection you have. But one common problem with 2-way SMS is that many mobile phone modems (especially Nokia), do not support receiving SMS over the GSM modem interface. The following thread has some good pointers, suggestions: http://www.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/4520.html First, you want to check the logs and make sure that you are actually receiving SMS messages.
