Hello: I have a question, could you help me to resolve it ? thanks in advance! I develope a software on my pc, I hope that it can receive and write mms . I need to test it receive functionality on pc. I know we can simulate mms notification by port .but I can simulate receipt progress on pc? or by wap stack or tcp/ip? do i need configurate a mmsc server?

It all depends on your phone emulator. If you are developing your own phone emulator, and support WAP Push over IP, then it is possible. If you are using existing phone emulators, then the process is specific to the emulator that you are using, and you should refer to the documentation for that emulator. (Generally speaking, most emulators, if they support MMS, have a proprietary means of supporting MMS in the emulator, and do not implement MMS in the same way that it would occur over a live network.) |
