Hi Michael, I'm graphically challenged when it comes to constructing diagrams. There is a text description of the MMS delivery process at the following link: http://www.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/2879.html But I suspect you're more interested not in the delivery process, but rather how you submit messages into the MMSC. Usually, an embedded client in a mobile phone (or a camera connected to a phone) uses the MM1 interface. Basically, the content of the MMS message is built into a single message file using the "MMS Encapsulation" format, as defined in a specification defined the Open Mobile Alliance specification. That content is posted to an MMSC using HTTP or WAP/WSP. If you're interfacing with our gateway, you don't have to use MM1. We support several different interfaces, which are described at the following link: http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/mms_notifications_and_c ontent/Submitting_MMS_Messages.htm If I can clarify any points, please do not hesitate to ask. -bn |
