That is Unicode format. What do you mean when you say that you can't receive them? NowSMS will convert the Unicode back to UTF-8 (or another character set) when processing a 2-way command. Can you explain more about your exact setup? |

Rather than querying the SMS-IN directory, you need to configure a 2-way command for processing the messages. The text will be converted to UTF-8 before passing the text to a 2-way command. (Or if you don't want to use UTF-8, you can tell NowSMS to use the Arabic character set by editing SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMSGW] section header, add ReceiveSMSCharset=iso-8859-6) Unfortunately, there is no way to modify the behaviour of the files that are stored directly in the SMS-IN directory. We don't perform Unicode conversion on the message text until the message gets routed to a 2-way command. More info on the 2-way command interface can be found here: http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/2_way_sms_support.htm http://www.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/4520.html |
