Hi BN, Please explain...Will Nowsms's 2way service work if I send a text to a keyword/* that triggers a script on an IP based http server which does not have a sim & number. I set the keyword but what is the number that I need to send it to. Or am I barking up the wrong tree? |

chi obac, I'm not sure that I follow your question. The 2-way script can certainly trigger a script that runs on another server. But that is not related to the number that you send the message to. NowSMS needs to have a link where it is receiving messages ... either a GSM modem (where the phone number you send to is the number associated with the SIM in the modem), or an SMSC connection to an SMS service provider through which they route received messages to you. You can do some simulation and testing by creating text files (filename.IN) in the SMS-IN directory with the following format: [SMS-IN] Sender=xyz Data=text of the received message
