Hello,
I upgraded my installation to Nowsms2009 from the 2008 i was using.
Now, when sending wap multimedia messages of any kind, all greek text is getting garbled for some reason. there seems to be a severe encoding problem. Am i the first to notice this problem?

Hi Dinos,
The template logic for multimedia WAP push have changed, because we are now generating both WML and HTML versions.
(Previously only WML versions were generated, and some newer phones do not handle WML, preferring HTML.)
Unfortunately, you are correct, there is a serious problem with the character encoding for Unicode text. The text is being encoded with the correct escape sequences.
This was a very stupid oversight. A fixed version has been posted to http://www.nowsms.com/download/nowsmsupdate.zip.

Hello Des,
It seems that the problem is not solved removing height in the css.
An other thing i have noticed is that when i send same image with web link the html that is created displays text smaller, whereas when send with multimedia wap push text is bigger and cut.
Finally if i copy the link of wap push and paste it in the browser of blackberry all text appears ok
Any clue
