how to send color operator logos via wap push the mobile received it as normal image and can not save it as operator logo is there any options to add to wap url |

Hi. You have to send a special header, not image/gif or image/jpeg only "image/vnd.nok-oplogo-color". DARO |

And just to clarify what DARO mentions, this is the MIME "Content-Type" header that must be returned by the web server for the image. It is a GIF or JPG file of a size specific to different Nokia phone models. There is information in the WAP Phone Characteristics documents at http://www.forum.nokia.com. According to the current version of that document, the only current Nokia phones that support this type are the 3510i, 6650, 7600, 3530, 5140, and the following US models: 3300, 5100, 6200, 6800. It may be supported by some other models as well, but that's what the Nokia document says is supported. -bn |
