Dear Bryce, As you know I wrote a little script that is executed by the gateway each time a message arrives. However I noticed something strange. The gateway doesn't poll all incomming messages. At first I tought is was my service provider, that was not passing all messages through, but after a few tests I noticed that it is the gateway that does not poll the message from the phone. I noticed this by running nokia datasuite. All message I send ended up in the INBOX not one missed. I the closed nokia data suite, and firedup the Gateway. After 4 messages send, only one was polled, only then was my script fired up. Any idea how to solve this ?? regards jerrel | |||

Hi Jerrel, We've been exchanging some e-mail about this, so I think it is probably best to continue the direct e-mail exchange. (For example, looking at the log files that you sent me via e-mail, I could see that SMS Receive "Message Storage" setting of "Device Memory" will not work with your modem, and that setting needed to be changed. Let's get that setting changed to "SIM Card" as that seems to be the only setting supported by the old Nokia Data Suite for the 6150 ... and if we're still not making progress, I'm going to give you a sequence of commands to try in HyperTerminal so that we can better understand if this is a NowSMS problem, or if the Nokia Data Suite perhaps is getting overwhelmed when it receives multiple messages.) -bn | |||
