where can i find some specifications on how to send formated texts in ems?

Hi,

I would recommend the SonyEricsson developer web site, http://www.sonyericsson.com/developer.

There are 3 documents on that site that are quite helpful:

Ericsson EMS White Paper
Developer Support Guidelines for EMS
SonyEricsson EMS Developers' Guidelines

You need to create an account on their web site, and login in order to access these documents.

Release 5 specs for EMS can be found at the following link on the 3GPP web site:

ftp://ftp.3gpp.org/Specs/2001-12/Rel-5/23_series/23040-520.zip

Release 4 specs for EMS can be found here:

ftp://ftp.3gpp.org/Specs/2001-09/Rel-4/23_series/23040-440.zip

Both of the above specs are for SMS in general, and the official EMS specs are part of those specifications.
