Hi,

The SMS over GPRS functionality seems to work great with my Sierra Aircard 750. However, when sending in bulk, the wait time for it to send the first message seems to take some time.

What is NOW's process of sending SMS over GPRS?

1) Connect to GPRS
2) Send SMS
3) Disconnect from GPRS

?

If this is so, is there a way to keep the connection persistant?

Hi Matt,

The actual establishment of the GPRS connection for sending SMS is done by the modem. We only send a command to tell it to send in this fashion.

How long of a wait are you seeing?
