I would like to know if it's possible to set the DCS (Data Coding) with NowSMS. Now this is send as f1, but I would like to change towards a different setting (01, 02, 00).
I hope you can explain how to do this.

Hi Flavi,
Apologies for the delay getting back to you. I fell behind in responding to messages on the discussion board.
The DCS is specified in one of the URL parameters that can be passed to NowSMS, so it is not problem to specify a different DCS.

Now, if you are referring to the binary messages that NowSMS generates automatically (such as WAP push, and MMS notifications), by default we use DCS=F5. You can change this setting by adding a configuration option to SMSGW.INI. Under the [SMSGW] section header, add BinaryDCS=xx, where xx is a hex value for the DCS setting. In a number of environments, we have had to use 04.
