Hi All,

I'm a newbie to sms implementation and want to know how I can implement a facility that is capable of sending large volumes of text messages from a PC (whether through the internet or by the installation of software.)

I wish to generate revenue from the messages sent so what will be my best option?
I know companies offer off-the-shelf gateway packages where they share the profits of the text messages sent, but will it be more cost effective in the long run to implement the facility myself?
Do I have to contact major networks and other providers if I want to implement such a system?

In need of knowledge!

The short answer, yes.

If you want to make money off of the messages that you send, this is called "premium rate" SMS.
