Hi, I have added NowSMS to my localhost WAMP set-up. If I send a text out, my mobile phone (which is acting as the modem) receives it correctly.
However, I have to use a NowSMS user account to send it.
I now want to receive an SMS. I send one from another phone and it doesn't work. My phone receives the text like a normal mobile and doesn't go through the gateway. There is no record of receiving it.
I have clicked the 2 way set up and to receive the sms. I have also added a prefix of * and added my phone number to the received list and still nothing.
Is it something to do with the user account that seems to be used in the sending of an SMS?? How do I do this for receiving?? Do i need a dedicated GSM Modem and not my Samsung G600??
Please help.
