That said ...
Generally speaking, you would send the text to the same phone number that you would dial if you were calling. For international calling, I find that the using "+" and the country code works best.
If he is using a UK phone in the Maldives, then that is of no concern to you, you would text as normal. Whether or not he can receive while roaming may depend on his operator. Usually you can receive text messages free while roaming. |
