Dear Bryce ,
we were testing Various configs over NOWSMS for Sending Email to SMS and SMS to Email and we are actually qiuet successful yet the following points are raised and needs your advice.
1- Using the MMSC Service and enabling Email Addresses to be allowed to send SMS , All SMSs are sent via the LocalMMSC Account which cant be controlled or logged , and thus we cant control its traffic
2- Using Same config , controlling Sender ID was impossible as it always appear as "SMTP Mailer etc...." which is not a valid Sender ID
3-Enabling SMTP Access for users on the SMS Users Tab , makes Email to SMS only workable if we forced a Sender ID , as there is no format to set the Sender ID Via Email
4-Using the 2-way SMS Command mailto:@@SMSPREFIX@@ makes reply back to the sms which is phonenumber@sms.domain.com faces the same problem of the localMMSC account..
Please clarify if there is anything to be done to the above matters..
P.S. : NOWSMS Email Gateway is a great product , unfortunatly we cant find any support for it over the website not updates or news !!!
