Can anyone recommend the best modem for moderate-volume commercial SMS & MMS applications (preferably one with a USB connection and Linux drivers) in the US?
Carrier recommendations would be most appreciated as well!
For the US market, we generally like the Multitech modems. Based upon feedback on this discussion board, it seems that people have less problems with the GPRS model (using a Wavecom chipset) than with the EDGE model (using a Siemens chipset).
