Please help me out here. A service my clients are asking for is to have the ability to send bard codes to mobile phones. Am I able to do this using NOWSMS? If so, how do I do this?? |

Hi, I am trying to use I-Mate K-JAM ( Windows Mobile 5) with Now SMS connected through USB port with appropriate driver. Unfortunately i am getting the attached error. Can u please let me know what are the Mobile phone that can be use with Now SMS |

You can send bar codes to mobile in 3 ways. But the best way is with wap push because is compatible with all mobile phones. If you are interested, plese let me know. |

To expand on Dan's response, you would send a WAP push pointing to a URL for the bar code image. WAP Push does require that the receiver have WAP/web services enabled for their phone. Another alternative is using Nokia Smart Messaging or EMS. I've seen a few services going the Nokia Smart Messaging route, because quite a few phones from other manufacturers support simple black and white picture messaging from the Nokia Smart Messaging specification. -bn |
