I want to reise up a new PC for NowSMS which platform you suggest me to Install. | |||

Either Windows 2000 or XP is fine (or Windows 2003 Server). I usually recommend running a workstation version rather than a server because there is no need for NowSMS to be running on a server version. Generally speaking, any new desktop PC configuration as offered by any of the major manufacturers is more than sufficient for the needs of NowSMS. CPU speed is generally not an issue unless you are going to be running a large number of SMSC connections (> 30). If you do have a large number of SMSC connections, then I do suggest going for a slightly faster CPU. For memory, NowSMS has minimal memory needs beyond that of the operating system. Configure the system with sufficient memory to run the operating system, and NowSMS rarely requires more than 8MB beyond the requirement of the OS. | |||
